Specialised coatings

Coatings do two jobs at once. They give walkways, stairs and other trafficked areas a safe, hard-wearing surface, and they seal the concrete beneath against water, wear and UV.

A worn or unsuitable coating lets water in, becomes slippery when wet and leaves the owner exposed if someone falls. Preparing the substrate properly and matching the system to the traffic and exposure is what makes a coating last. Finishes include non-slip and abrasive surfaces, epoxy systems and more.
